blueberry lake food drops
All food caches must not exceed 50 lbs.
For food caches at the Blueberry Lake Trailhead, you will receive a lock combination specific to your bear locker where you can open it up and collect your cache when you arrive. The caches will be placed 1-2 days before your scheduled arrival date and up to 1 week ahead of time. Fuel canisters can be added to the booking if interested.
$129/cache OR $99/cache for GDTA members
For food caches up at Blueberry Lake, we will coordinate a pick up date and time via InReach messages. We cannot leave a cache up there unattended, so this will require coordination on both our parts. It does mean you don’t have to hike down the Blueberry Trail to retrieve your cache and you can camp at the lake.
$399/cache, must call or email for availability
kakwa shuttles
For shuttles, we can either pick up or drop off at the end of the Walker Cr FSR near Kakwa Lake (as far as we can safely travel on the road) and shuttle anywhere between Jasper or Prince George. The road conditions vary from year to year, so please be adaptable with how far we can get up the road each year. We will need to coordinate via InReach messages to ensure that no one is waiting for too long if being picked up at the end of the road.
$325-$599/shuttle, must call or email for availability
