Say hello to the Bighorn Sheep (if you’re lucky) and hike past our beautiful Intro to Rock Climbing site as you start your challenging journey upwards to the top of Morro Peak. Excellent views of the Athabasca River Valley and recent Chetamon Wildfire await the hardy souls that make it to the top of this iconic, local peak. Best done as a spring or fall adventure.

Popular only to the locals, this rugged trail takes you through a small canyon (short ladder climb), past stunning limestone walls to the top of a treeless peak with 360-degree panoramic views. The views looking at the Athabasca River & Roche Miette are particularly stunning.
